Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Whole Rolled Oats
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 1/3 cup Water
- 2-3 each of Walnuts, Cashew, Almond - broken into small pieces
- 10-12 Raisins
- 1 Tsp Flax seeds - ground into powder
- 1/2 Tsp Sugar
- 1 small ripe Banana
Method
- Mix water and milk in a pan and add oats. Place it on the stove to cook.
- After 1-2 minutes, cut banana into small pieces and add to the pan
- Now add sugar, nuts, raisins and flax seeds
- Cook until the oats are cooked and the mixture thickens. (If oats are not cooked completely when it has thickened, add some milk/water)
- Let it cool for a while.
- Transfer to a container and put it in the refrigerator.
The above measure was good for 2 of us for breakfast.
This can be prepared in advance and kept refrigerated for 3-5 days ready for daily breakfast.
